SIP trunking technology is a direct replacement for traditional ISDN, offering a more flexible and lower cost alternative for inbound and outbound voice call traffic.
Fibre broadband differs from traditional ADSL solutions by using plastic or glass cables rather than copper wires to allow for faster data transfer speeds.
FTTC and FTTP?
FTTC, or ‘fibre to the cabinet’, broadband uses a full fibre optic connection from provider to the cabinet, and then copper wire from there to your premises. FFTP means ‘fibre to the premises’ and, rather than reach your premises via the cabinet, FTTP travels directly from your internet provider.
Both fibre broadband and a leased line provide internet to a premises using plastic or glass cables. However a leased line is a dedicated connection between your premises and the local exchange. This means that it provides fixed bandwidth, identical upload and download speeds and is not subject to contention with other users, unlike FTTC or FTTP solutions.

With the UKs analogue ISDN/ PSTN network being switched off in 2025 it is no surprise that all of IT3000's telephony solutions use VoIP technology.
A SIP trunk is the modern equivalent of a T1 trunk and connects to your VoIP phone system. With the end of ISDN/ PSTN all phones lines will be delivered in this way.
